Senior Electrical Engineer
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in HV and MV systems, as well as excellent technical skills and a passion for delivering high-quality projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Complete electrical design reviews to identify design gaps and deviations or contradictions in specifications.
* Validate cable sizing and make recommendations as needed.
* Evaluate technical assessments and resolve issues promptly.
* Manage submittals through the approvals process, track procurement and delivery of electrical equipment, and complete receipt verification upon delivery.
* Attend and record regular supply chain meetings to ensure progress is monitored and maintained within the construction programme.
* Update and record progress on system trackers aligned with the construction schedule.
* Review electrical installations with the BIM team to ensure designs are constructible and provide adequate space for installation and maintenance of all equipment and cabling.
* Liaise with the design team and supply chain to ensure correct operation of plant on site and successful handover.
* Conduct electrical system walk-downs to ensure systems comply with specifications and drawings.
* Compile test packs, FTOP's, and O&Ms and present for approval.
* Manage specialist vendors during commissioning to ensure timely completion of their works.
* Deliver client training in line with agreed training plans.
Requirements:
* A 3rd-level qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
* Experience working with both LV and MV systems, primarily in building services and data centre environments.
* A proven record of delivering small to medium-sized Electrical projects (Commercial, Industrial, Pharma, Data Centre type projects).
* Commercial awareness and ability to multi-task and manage many priorities.
