Job Title: Group Reservations Supervisor
This leading Dublin four-star hotel is recruiting a Group Reservations Supervisor to manage their group reservations function, ensuring an efficient reservations experience from quotation to contract to hand over to the Operations team.
The Group Reservations Supervisor is responsible for quoting, converting and managing all group accommodation enquiries, ensuring that the hotel revenue and reservations strategy is implemented in order to fully optimise hotel revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
* Track, follow-up and thoroughly document every enquiry.
* Enter all groups into Opera correctly with relevant notes, traces and rates.
* Action all group traces daily, and chase or cancel groups on option on time.
* Coordinate all relevant information/queries in advance with Hotel Operations.
* Recognise regular and repeat business and note special requests for Reception.
* Complete weekly/monthly group reports.
* Filing must be completed efficiently and timely.
* Upsell and recommend hotel facilities at all times.
* Maintain knowledge of hotel market pricing and review pricing appropriately.
* Implement sell guidelines for groups and coordinate management of group business closely with relevant teams.
* Identify low demand periods and develop a plan to improve performance.
* Ensure effective implementation and compliance of all company Group Reservations SOP's.
* Attribute all group revenue to the correct revenue category and market segment.
* Assist with individual reservations as required.
* Pass sales leads to the Sales office.
* Work closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager to ensure key group decisions align with hotel policy.
* Collect payment of accommodation and refer any billing/payment query to the Revenue & Reservations Manager / Sales & Marketing Manager.
* Work closely with the Reception team and pass on all group booking information to ensure a problem-free stay.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years' experience within a hotel reservations office with experience of group reservations, four-star experience a strong advantage. The candidate must have keen attention to detail, good numeracy skills and excellent communication skills with fluent English, written and verbal.
