Scope/Purpose
Working in collaboration with the Operations Leadership team will be key to the success of this role. Data is central to the growth of our business, from productivity analysis to the identification of avoidable administrative processes and the delivery of client insights. The collection, transformation and interpretation of data from a range of systems has to date consumed a vast amount of time of the senior executives of the business. As we grow and their priorities increase, we want to continue to maintain the understanding of the business levers which our data can provide. This role will work closely with our business leaders to build technical reporting capabilities which unlock our data for our stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop an understanding of the data inputs and outputs of our business to ensure that strategic insights can be obtained.
2. Work closely with our IT partners in building out systems.
3. Collaborate with operational leaders to identify trends and implement solutions.
4. Engage with clients to explore ways in which we can better support their objectives through real time transparent access to our systems.
5. Assist prospects in understanding how we can tailor our systems to support new business acquisition.
6. Manage the day-to-day operations of IT systems in the business and support operational leaders.
7. Ensure that information provided to customers and third parties is correct, clear, complete, and up to date by consulting the relevant data source/s.
8. Support a “can do culture” where our priorities are driven by the customer.
9. Be flexible to the needs of the company in prioritising workflow appropriately and effectively.
10. Ensure efficient management of workflow within expected timeframes.
11. Support the claims handling process/audit preparation when required.
12. Adhere to all Company policies & procedures.
Education and Work Experience
1. Bachelors degree in relevant data or technology fields.
2. Aptitude for learning and taking own initiative.
3. Familiarity with database and data visualisation programming.
