Head of Manufacturing - North Dublin.
Core tasks and responsibilities:
• KPI Delivery
• Disciplined focus on day-to-day delivery of the site KPI metrics
• A clear focus on EHS management promoting a Zero-Harm culture.
• Team Leadership & Coaching
• Empowered leadership style.
• Provides support, recognition and opportunity for growth.
• Instrumental in delivering direct coaching to develop individuals and teams.
• Develop succession planning roadmaps and a talent pipeline.
• Optimum use of headcount resource planning with strategic review and implementation.
• Deliver optimum training and development plans for the team.
• Manage and lead a team culture to drive performance improvements.
• As a Senior Leadership Team member you will contribute to, lead and support the wider business goals.
• Support front-line team leaders to deliver across all site metrics.
• Champion Continuous Improvement across the site whilst implement best practice processes and procedures.
• Continuously improving site performance metrics
• Strategically focused on performance
• Fast response to line issues and unblocking barriers to performance
• Lead CI events through 5S / Kaizen / PDCA etc.
• Analytical ability to work through complex issues.
• Ability to network across the wider business to learn and improve the site performance whilst enhancing the site’s reputation globally.
• Work closely with local agencies to learn and grow the site reputation within Ireland.
• Build strong relationships with other departments to ensure optimum performance and productivity.
• Continually review productivity goals to drive cost savings.
Interested applicants should have:
• At least 5 years' direct production experience at a Senior Management level. Minimum degree qualification (level 8), in Engineering or another discipline.
• Be a strategic, goal focused individual with high intensity and a passion for leading, managing and developing teams.
• Ability to deliver complex solutions in close collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Readily accepts ownership, accountability, and responsibility in delivering effective solutions.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills required.
