Job Description:
The successful Maintenance Engineer will work on a day shift, undertaking planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of production and plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production plant and equipment
* Respond to breakdowns and resolve faults quickly
* Contribute to continuous improvement and machine upgrades
* Work across electrical and mechanical systems
* Collaborate with the maintenance team to minimise downtime and maximise performance
* Record maintenance logs as required
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8am - 4:30pm
Friday: 8am - 2:30pm
Salary Range:
£34,000 - £36,000 per annum
Overtime is paid at a rate of 1.5 times the normal hourly rate.
Requirements:
* Level 3 apprenticeship in Engineering, Mechatronic or Electrical
* Maintenance experience in a manufacturing/production setting
* Multi-skilled across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
* Working knowledge of PLCs, controls and robotics
