What you'll do
As the Account Executive (AE), you are a highly motivated self-starter responsible for developing and closing new business and expanding our footprint with current customers in the Benelux Market. You will help to grow Docusign by finding leads, closing sales, formulating sales strategies, and communicating product value to prospects. You are accountable for exceeding monthly and quarterly quotas, proactive deal management, and forecast accuracy. Collaboration is a key priority as you will work alongside internal teams and the broader DocuSign partner ecosystem. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sales Manager.
Responsibilities
1. Drive success of the company’s goals and objectives through achieving individual sales quotas.
2. Build and manage a sales pipeline through prospecting efforts into a geographic territory or within the core verticals.
3. Develop and deliver customized sales presentations and product demonstrations, by phone and via online demo.
4. Develop enterprise-level proposals and contracts.
5. Forecast sales activity and revenue achievements accurately through proper use of sales tools.
6. Collaborate effectively and engage various pre and post-sales resources including Sales Development Representatives, Market Development Representatives, Solutions Engineers, Account Managers, Partner Account Managers, as well as Legal, Security, Professional Services, and Customer Support.
Job Designation
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation).
What you bring
1. Basic fluency in Dutch and English.
2. Experience in consultative sales, preferably within a SaaS model.
3. Proficient computer application skills, including Salesforce.com.
4. Familiarity with Google Suite.
5. Preferred experience selling web-based products or services.
6. Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles.
7. Demonstrated ability to over-achieve quotas (top 10-20% of company) in past positions.
8. You are eager to learn, determined to adapt quickly, and comfortable with some ambiguity.
