We are currently recruiting for a Head of Security, reporting directly to the Deputy General Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
* Safety and Security
o Establish procedures to prevent/minimise loss from theft and other safety risks.
o Maintain audit reports and records on all loss and safety incidents, recommending system or procedure changes if necessary.
* Team Training and Education
o Train/educate all team members on current safety issues to ensure compliance with Company loss control policies and current security and safety regulations.
* Operational Management
o Manage the daily operation of security to achieve or exceed budget expectations.
o Ensure the Company complies with Private Security Authority (PSA) regulations and licensing standards.
o Monitor and maintain operational equipment used by the security team.
* Asset Protection
o Ensure that guests, employees, and owners' assets and well-being are protected at all times.
* Cost Control
o Proactively maintain and control operating costs of the security department while maintaining set standards.
* Health and Safety Officer
o Assume the role of Health & Safety Officer, ensuring adherence to Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
* GDPR Officer
o Assume the role of GDPR Officer, monitoring and coordinating the Company's compliance with the GDPR and internal data protection policies and procedures.
* Security Patrols
o Ensure the safety of all guests, employees, and visitors by conducting regular security patrols and preventing theft, vandalism, etc.
* Incident Investigation
o Investigate any allegations of crime/breaches within the hotel in a professional, objective, and caring manner.
* Reporting and Communication
o Present full reports to the General Manager, Facilities & Engineering Manager, and HRD Director as required.
* Professional Conduct
o Act impartially and professionally when carrying out duties, treating all persons with respect and courtesy.
* Tournament and Event Planning
o Assist in planning and executing tournaments and events, prioritising guest experience, security, safety, and satisfaction.
