Technical Executive - Food

About the Role
As a Technical Executive, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the company's reputation for exceptional quality. Working closely with the Technical Manager, you'll support technical compliance ensuring seamless coordination between suppliers and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage technical queries via email communication.
* Complete customer questionnaires, including sending BRCGS-related documents.
* Ongoing monitoring of supplier approval.
* Review suppliers' BRC certificates and product specifications.
* Check if suppliers are up-to-date with documentation, involving direct contact with current suppliers.
* Ensure supplier temperature data logger readouts are downloaded and saved in supplier folders.
* Review laboratory results when received.
* Ensure supplier loading reports are received and monitored.
* Ensure all samples are logged on the sample tracker, receipted, and stored correctly.
* Ensure Certificate of Analysis (COA) is received from suppliers based on the schedule, involving direct contact with suppliers.
* Perform monthly horizon scanning for TACCP/VACCP monitoring.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a food technical or quality role is required.
* Knowledge of HACCP and BRCGS compliance is necessary.
* A qualification in food safety, food science, or a related field is preferred.
* Good numeracy skills for data tracking and reporting.
* Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
* Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
* A valid EU work permit.
