About This Role
This role is a member of the Kerrygold Park senior leadership team and is responsible for managing the capital projects portfolio. The role will plan, schedule, and manage all technical and engineering aspects of assigned projects throughout the project life cycle.
* Manage site capital project portfolio from concept to completion and sign-off
* Assume overall control for capital projects portfolio, including project scoping, design, budget preparation, management, planning, execution, delivery, tendering, vendor selection, contractor negotiation, compliance, and project communication, tracking, reporting, and stakeholder management
Key Requirements & Competencies
* 5+ years of engineering projects or capital management experience
* Experience of budgetary processes, cost centre ownership, and cost control
* Strong leadership, communication, planning, people leadership, and organising skills
* Proven record in project delivery
* Dairy processing operational expertise
* Excellent knowledge of design and visualisations software such as AutoCAD
* Exposure to and knowledge of Operational Excellence techniques
* The ability to positively contribute to strategic business decision-making as part of a senior management team
