**Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)**
Our client, a leading global start-up in temperature-controlled logistics exclusively serving the life sciences industry, seeks a dynamic and strategic Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to head up their new Irish operation. Strategically located facilities in the US and Shannon, Co. Clare provide unmatched supply chain solutions for sensitive biopharmaceutical products. The CCO will play a key role in this success.
**Role and Responsibilities:**
* Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion in the life sciences sector.
* Secure new business opportunities and establish long-term strategic client partnerships in conjunction with the Business Development team.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on customer needs and service delivery.
* Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and potential risks.
* Create and manage organizational budgets and monitor KPIs to track performance.
* Represent the organization at industry events and conferences to enhance visibility and establish connections.
* Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners to drive long-term business success.
**Skills and Experience:**
* 8-10+ years of experience in commercial/operations/site lead role within the logistics/supply chain sector.
* Experience in temperature-controlled or cold chain logistics is a major advantage.
* Experience working in, or working with clients from, the life sciences or related sectors is a major advantage.
**The Offer:**
A senior director level salary and benefits package will be negotiated to reflect the significant complexities and responsibilities of this role.
Although the operation will be based in Shannon Co. Clare, the role can be office-based, hybrid, or primarily remote (within Ireland) to suit the incoming candidate.
Candidates without full eligibility to live and work in Ireland on a permanent basis will not be considered.
