CREGG is recruiting an experience HR Generalist to join a busy manufacturing company. This is fulltime, contract that will require the candidate to be based onsite in Athenry. Hours are 8am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-2pm on Friday. Responsibilities Coordinate and deliver key elements of the following HR operational processes: Recruitment and Selection, Performance Management, Training & Development. Provide guidance and support to managers on a broad range of Human Resource practices. Work with managers to ensure employees have meaningful performance reviews and development plans and that managers are following-through with support of training and follow-up meetings. Liaise with the HR Administrator in scheduling employee inductions, contracts and ensuring all relevant documentation is in place. Manage employee records and HR database, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Proactively monitor and update internal HR policy to ensure it aligns with current legislation and corporate requirements. Maintain a good working relationship with all departments and be a point of contact for general HR queries and provide information regarding HR policies, benefits etc. Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on performance-related matters. Lead and support various HR projects and initiatives as required. Manage absence and time keeping in line with Company policy while ensuring employees are using the Time Management System both onsite and working remotely. Produce monthly metrics for reporting on headcount, absenteeism and time keeping etc. and present them to the management team. Assist and contribute to the development of the site-wide training plan in conjunction with management. Co-ordinates and administers the delivery of training as planned and as requested throughout the year. Manage the site training system and co-ordinate training files in conjunction with the QMS software. Manage the HR software system and ensure all employees / managers are trained. Reporting to the Operations Manager. Requirements: A third level diploma or degree qualification in Human Resource Management essential. A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role. Good knowledge of Irish Employment Law. Strong communication, presentation skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
