Senior Reliability Engineer - Hybrid
Force Recruitment are recruiting for a Senior Reliability Engineer to join their client, a leading asset management, maintenance and reliability engineering consultancy and training services company. With offices in the UK and Ireland they help their clients to achieve long term sustainable reliability to enhance their bottom line and achieve their business potential.
Time will be split between working on customer site and working from home. Territory will be the UK and Ireland.
Requirements:
Bring energy, knowledge, innovation to carry out the following:
* Subject Matter Expert and leader for the site reliability roadmap working with cross-functional teams to ensure that there is an effective and robust equipment utilisation and reliability master plan developed and implemented at the site.
* Provide strategic oversight for equipment reliability
* Ensuring that all reliability engineering methodology is at the forefront of site sustainability and site master planning.
* Support the deployment and use of various condition based maintenance techniques (thermal imaging, temperature, pressure, oil viscosity, vibration analysis) to drive a predictive culture in our reliability programme.
* Ensures safety, quality and operational excellence is foundational within the Reliability Programme.
* Support Manufacturing to ensure equipment remains in an operational state with minimal downtime.
* Troubleshoot equipment, process, facility and utility issues by performing investigations, root-cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
* Work with Plant Engineering Lead in establishing and meeting targeted site and Tech Ops objectives
What skills you will need:
In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
* At least 6 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with 3 of these in pharmaceutical manufacturing, medical devices or equivalent.
* Knowledge and experience of best practise predictive and condition based maintenance techniques.
* Understanding and experience in defining and implementing maintenance strategy optimisation, ideally using proven best practice RCM and D4.0 solutions eg Isograph.
* Experience managing reliability metrics and KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, OEE, Work Management, etc.
* Good understanding of CMMS and how to leverage to drive asset reliability
* Experience in mentoring, training and implementing root cause analysis and effective investigation practices in an Operational Excellence environment.
* Proven ability in using a wide variety of lean tools and building capability within teams.
