Salary: £47,600 - £71,600 or €64,000 - €96,000 + cash / car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role
The purpose of the role is to retain and grow the number of strategic energy supply accounts held by SSE Airtricity. Part of the Major Business Sales Team, you will be responsible for targeting new strategic accounts, managing the day-to-day relationship and negotiating new contracts with current strategic accounts held by SSE Airtricity. A key area of strategic focus and growth within the Industrial and Commercial (I&C) sector is in relation to contracting and servicing key corporate customers within the Data Centre sector in Ireland. The rise of AI is increasing the demand for new and larger Data Centres, making them an ever-growing part of the energy supply landscape in Ireland and beyond. This role will encompass the full customer life cycle from targeting a supply opportunity, presenting and selling our supply products including Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (CPPA’s), providing bespoke account management to the customer and seeking to renew in future periods by creating a partnership that delivers value for the customer and SSE Airtricity.
You will
Provide best in class account management for existing strategic accounts, delivering key analytic support including creating and producing bespoke reports.
Manage complex contract negotiations ensuring commercial opportunities are maximised and risks are identified and mitigated.
Proactively target new strategic accounts identified by the Head of I&C sales.
Build strategic relationships with clients taking them on a journey from supply customers to energy partners.
Develop working knowledge of all supply products including Fixed, Flexible, Market tracking and CPPA’s. Support with CPPA sales and servicing as required for strategic opportunities.
You have
An in depth understanding of the electricity and gas markets in Ireland (or other jurisdiction).
Experience managing complex gas or electricity supply products and the ability to understand new concepts quickly.
Considerable Account Management experience - effective at communicating to customers and colleagues with an embedded understanding of their business and the ability to manage multiple complex projects/processes simultaneously.
A numerical and financial focus, with strong MS Office skills (particularly Excel).
Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with individuals at all levels within an organisation, and the ability to influence key stakeholders at senior levels.
