Accommodation and Housekeeping Team Members (Full-time positions are for 37 hours per week)
Please note:
Candidates must hold a valid permit to work in Ireland.
This role involves working in many different areas of the hospital.
Experience is not essential as full training will be provided in line with company requirements.
Conversational English required.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
* To work with supervisors to ensure that the bedrooms are maintained to the highest possible standards of hygiene.
* To work with supervisors to ensure that all public areas are maintained to the highest standards.
* To work with Theatre Management to ensure that theatres are appropriately cleaned between procedures.
* To work with our Chefs to ensure that the wash-up area is kept clean and tidy.
* To participate in deep cleaning.
* To practice safe chemical handling and storage techniques.
* To ensure all equipment is kept in good working order and to report any maintenance issues.
* To work cooperatively with fellow colleagues, practicing team spirit and contributing to the smooth operation of the Hotel Services Department.
* To attend training courses and meetings as required.
* To comply with the Galway Clinic regulations regarding Fire, Health & Safety, Hand Hygiene, Infection Control, Security & Patient Confidentiality.
* To report for duty on time.
The Candidate:
* Previous experience in one or all of the areas desirable but not essential.
* Conversational English.
* Team Player.
* Professional approach to work.
* Must have valid permits to work in Ireland.
