About The Role
We are seeking an IT Manager/Coordinator to join our organisation on a 6-month contract.
This hybrid role offers the option to be based in one of our multiple West Cork sites, reporting directly to the CEO.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Monitoring and maintaining networks and servers.
* Upgrading, installing and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives.
* Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.
* Documenting processes, as well as backing up and archiving data.
* Developing data retrieval and recovery procedures.
* Designing and implementing efficient end-user feedback and error reporting systems.
* Supporting the senior team with potential tenders for new IT infrastructure.
* Maintaining Data Security.
* Mapping out the current IT Infrastructure and recommending IT upgrades and best practices.
* Supporting the development and implementation of the Strategic Plan.
Requirements
* Strong technical knowledge of IT Infrastructure & Applications.
* Previous experience in an IT Management or Coordinator role.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills.
* Ability to engage and manage IT Vendors.
* A highly motivated individual, working to the highest professional standards and with proven ability to deliver results.
