Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Environmental Monitoring and Microbiology Analyst to join our dynamic team in Limerick, Ireland.
As a key member of our team, you will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality microbiology environmental monitoring services to our clients.
Perform Environmental Monitoring in a Biopharmaceutical ISO 8 manufacturing area.
Maintain high aseptic standards by adhering to strict clean room behaviours and gowning procedures.
Carry out routine sampling and incubation for Passive Air, Active Air and Surfaces.
Supporting investigations by completing ad-hoc sampling and swabbing.
Execute Non-viable and Viable analysis on Compressed Gas systems.
Sample Ethanol points to monitor the Ethanol supply for manufacturing.
Monitor water loops used by manufacturing by completing sampling of Water for Injection (WFI) and Clean Steam (CS) points. Report and investigate anomalous or quality-related events, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Support manufacturing activities by completing post-shutdown and response Environmental Monitoring.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a high-performing, customer-focused Environmental Monitoring programme.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and project work to enhance GMP processes.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all testing procedures and results.
Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline Relevant experience working in a Cleanroom area or Microbiology laboratory advantageous Strong knowledge and practical application of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Proficiency in microbiology aseptic techniques and clean room behaviours Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail Strong documentation and data recording abilities Demonstrated experience in maintaining laboratory safety standards Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Passion for quality and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service Flexibility to adapt to changeable working patterns and available to work shift work Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to investigate anomalies Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail in data analysis Ability to thrive in a fast-paced laboratory environment Willingness to learn and expand skillset across various test methods Note: Shift work is required for this role.
