In partnership with our client, we are seeking a Casualty Claims Handler. This role is hybrid with 4 days working from home and one day office based in Dublin 2 per week.
Our client provides a comprehensive insurance broking service to all business sectors and professions and their activities span the full range of commercial and personal general insurances.
About the Role
This role provides detailed, effective support across a wide variety of tasks within the Claims department. Claims are wholesale property & casualty claims attaching to risks in the London market. You will provide a broad range of support to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a high level of customer service is always maintained. This is a busy role that requires exceptional organisation skills and the ability to work autonomously.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up, acknowledge and report new claims to underwriters and/or their nominated TPA’s within agreed SLA’s.
* Process, collect and arrange settlement of all claim and fee settlements, via ECF and direct with underwriters.
* Manage risks with large deductibles and Self-Insured retentions.
* Assist formulating claims experiences alongside brokers, underwriters and account handlers.
* Provide claim details for risks and binders/line slips.
* Review and update claims on static claims lists.
* Review and resolve aged analysis reports.
* Provide support when required to all other members of the claims team.
* Any other ad-hoc tasks that may be required from time to time.
About You

* London Market experience is preferred with knowledge of wholesale business.
* You will have in depth knowledge of Property and Casualty claims handling.
* You will be exceptionally organised, inquisitive, and excited to learn and progress your career.
* You will be a confident written and verbal communicator with the ability to build relationships with a portfolio of brokers, loss adjusters, solicitors and underwriters.
* You will have a level of experience working with Microsoft systems, including Word, Excel and Outlook and understand the importance of keeping documentation and systems up to date.
