Key Responsibilities
* Provide individualised support to people with autism, promoting independence, social inclusion, and overall well-being.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to develop and implement tailored plans that meet each individual's unique needs.
* Contribute to a strengths-based approach, focusing on empowering individuals to make their own choices and take control of their lives.
* Ensure the dignity and respect of those receiving support, prioritising their autonomy, privacy, and self-worth.
Requirements
* Essential Qualifications: Level 7 qualification in Social Care/Studies from an accredited institution or recognised equivalent.
* At least one year of recent experience in a similar role, preferably supporting individuals with autism.
* Excellent communication and engagement skills, with the ability to promote independence in individuals with support needs.
* A full, clean driving licence and eligibility for CORU Registration.
Desirable Criteria
* Experience supporting individuals with ASD and knowledge of autism.
* Experience in case management/key working.
