About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a highly skilled Sous Chef, responsible for leading a kitchen team and delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
We are seeking a seasoned professional with expertise in larder skills (butchery and fish), pastry and baking skills, menu development, modern plating and presentation techniques, training and teaching skills, HACCP and food hygiene knowledge, and hands-on experience in menu costing and budgeting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a kitchen team to deliver high-quality food
* Develop and implement menus
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
* Manage menu costs and budgets
* Train and mentor junior staff members
Requirements:
* 3 years of experience in a busy kitchen environment
* Prior experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Ability to work flexibly, including daytime, evening, and weekend shifts
* Trustworthy referees who can validate your reliability, honesty, and work-related skills
