We are seeking an experienced and people-focused Cluster Human Resources Manager to support two prestigious MHL Hotel Collection properties in Galway. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Galway City Centre, ideal for a confident HR professional ready to take the next step in their career.
About the Role - As Cluster HR Manager, you will oversee the full HR function across both properties. From recruitment and onboarding to employee engagement, learning and development, and performance management, you’ll play a key role in shaping a positive and high-performing workplace culture.
Responsibilities
* Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes across both Galway properties.
* Actively manage Alkimii (HRIS), ensuring employee records and communications are accurate and up to date.
* Drive learning and development initiatives, ensuring continuous growth for team members at all levels.
* Coach and support managers in areas such as employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and performance management.
* Lead the performance review cycle and provide guidance on career progression.
* Promote a culture of openness, inclusion, and respect across all departments.
* Ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation and HR best practices.
* Coordinate and support grievance processes and conflict resolution.
* Track employee retention and turnover, identifying areas for improvement.
* Maintain up-to-date HR files and oversee GDPR compliance.
* Manage the HR budget for both Galway hotels.
* Coordinate employee engagement and recognition programmes, including referral schemes.
Required Skills
* Proven experience in a HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor role, ideally with multi-site exposure.
* Strong understanding of Irish employment law and HR compliance.
* Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with a hands-on approach.
* Confident in using HR systems (experience with Alkimii is an advantage).
* A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, hospitality environment.
