Key Responsibilities
* Play a vital role in building future-proof networks that empower clients, businesses and communities.
* Work with a diverse team to deliver specialist OLT, ONT and PON technical support, ensuring continuity of network service.
* Support the installation, commissioning and test of network infrastructure.
* Contribute to the performance management of the operations team and third-party contractors.
* Develop a strong relationship with colleagues in the Network Operations Centre and the Customer Operations teams.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT to ensure quality documentation and performance measurement.
Requirements
* 5+ years technology/operations experience in an ICT environment.
* Third-level qualification in engineering, computer science, physics or similar.
* Skilled in OLT/ONT trouble shooting, OTDR testing, Fibre Fault finding, Core Fibre, FTTx.
* Domain knowledge across OSS, OLT, ONT, DWDM & IP (Nokia an advantage).
* Knowledge of Analytic Trouble Shooting (ATS) techniques and test methodologies.
