About the Position
We are seeking an experienced In-House Counsel to provide expert guidance and ensure legal compliance across a variety of high-impact projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Employment Law
o Advising on day-to-day HR and employment-related matters.
o Drafting and reviewing contracts, policies, and correspondence.
o Delivering training on employment law topics.
* Data Protection
o Ensuring compliance with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR.
o Overseeing and advising on data protection governance frameworks.
o Conducting audits and assessments to mitigate risks.
* Risk and Compliance
o Managing risk registers and ensuring best practices in compliance.
o Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
o Supporting business acceptance, conflicts, and professional ethics compliance.
* Commercial Property
o Advising on property transactions, leases, and regulatory compliance.
* Mergers & Acquisitions
o Leading legal due diligence and advising on key agreements such as share purchase and joint venture agreements.
Requirements
* A qualified solicitor with experience in small-to-medium practice.
* Broad expertise across multiple sectors, demonstrating a versatile skill set.
* Strong ability to work autonomously, handling complex legal issues with minimal supervision.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills with an eye for detail.
