The purpose of this job is to promote and support independent living, community integration, personal development, and work opportunities for service users. The role assists the Manager in developing, implementing, and delivering quality customer-focused and cost-effective community services at an appropriate time and setting.
Job Summary
* A third-level graduate with a health and social care equivalent, minimum QQI Level 7 qualification.
* Well-developed people management skills, with experience of building, leading, and motivating a team.
* Awareness of budget management and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
* To build trusting relationships and communication with service users, facilitating them to identify their goals, strengths, and needs.
* To support service users in establishing and enhancing their natural support circle.
* To research and devise Community Profiles, sourcing activities in service users' communities.
* To develop and maintain partnerships with local organizations.
Requirements
* Action-oriented with a strong ability to work hard and seek challenges.
* Flexible working hours and travel are required to meet operational needs.
* Ability to adapt to other reasonable duties/projects if required by the CSM.
* A full clean driving license.
