**Job Title:** Executive Parks & Landscape Officer
Cork City Council invites applications for the position of Executive Parks & Landscape Officer. This role involves overseeing the planning, design, development, and management of parks, heritage landscapes, and gardens within the city.
Responsibilities:
* Hold a qualification in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Arboriculture, Natural or Environmental Science (level 8 or higher on the National Framework of Qualifications)
* Hold a current clean driving license (Class B) for the relevant vehicle class
* Have at least five years of post-graduate experience in planning, designing, developing, and managing parks, heritage landscapes, and gardens
* Possess a high standard of professional competence and experience
* Be able to work independently and as part of a team
* Have good interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
* Have proven ability to manage projects on time and within budget
* Have a good working knowledge of legal and regulatory standards that apply to local authorities
