The successful candidate will be site-based on a client Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Facility in the greater Dublin area. They will report to a Service Manager/Calibration Engineer and will be responsible for performing routine calibrations as well as troubleshooting on process equipment used in the manufacturing of pharma products. Other calibrations include utility, warehouse, and analytical labs. This role would suit someone who has the ability to work with a team but is also a self-starter. You will need to have an excellent understanding and experience in the Calibration of Temperature, Pressure, Weight, RH & Flow measurement equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform calibrations on process, utility and analytical lab equipment.
* Work in a calibration team structure.
* Troubleshoot and repair site instrumentation & monitoring systems.
* Ensure work is completed in a safe and compliant manner in accordance with applicable cGMP procedures.
* Ensure that all documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with applicable cGMP procedures.
* Execution of work according to CMMS plan.
* Recommend and implement improvement ideas to enhance the instrumentation and metrology functions and other business processes.
Education/ Experience Requirements:
* National Craft Certificate in Instrumentation or Electrical Instrumentation.
* Alternatively, a B.Sc. Degree in Process Instrumentation & Automation or Applied Physics & Instrumentation.
* 3+ years of combined education, training, and experience in calibration, instrumentation, measurement and control in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
* Knowledge and experience working in a GMP regulated facility.
* Experience executing and documenting Calibration certificates.
* Ability to interpret loop sheets, electrical schematics, P&ID's, I/O wiring and panel drawings.
* Computer literate - minimum 3 years' experience.
