Managing Quantity Surveyor (Contractor)

Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our contracting department, you will be responsible for preparing valuations, applications for payment, and contract final accounts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Preparation of monthly, interim, and final valuations, including reconciliations of valuations and costs.
2. Providing timely and accurate information for cash flow reviews and maintaining a strong contractual position.
3. Careful examination of contract documents to identify potential issues.
4. Agreement on valuation dates with client representatives.
5. Proactive take-off preparation in advance of Estimating, Procurement, and Planning Department requirements.
6. Preparation of contract final accounts, including adjustments, and agreement with client representatives.
7. Record-keeping of contractual delays.
8. Management and coaching of contract surveyors, assistant surveyors, and junior surveyors.
Requirements
1. Minimum 7 years' experience with a main contractor or equivalent.
2. Previous experience working on Construction/Civil Engineering projects, including Residential, RC Frame, Retail/Commercial, Pharma, Data-centre, and Hi-Tech.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
