A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Finance Business Partner has arisen to join a large multi-entity business based in Dublin. This role offers excellent progression and hybrid working options.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop strategic partnership with Divisional Finance Director
2. Lead and manage Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) outputs including business plans, project and investment appraisals
3. Challenge, highlight and investigate areas of opportunity for strategic recommendations
4. Understand and translate financial information into tangible targets or actions, assessing financial implications of each action
5. Drive the preparation of relevant papers for senior level meetings with stakeholders across the business
6. Act as key finance liaison for the partnering business units, responsible for Finance Business Partner’s outputs
7. Mentor and guide direct reports, sharing expertise and knowledge to support growth and development
8. Ensure Finance Business Partners maintains Key Performance Indicator (KPI) results within management expectations where necessary e.g., accuracy of financial data or forecast
9. Own the development and management of divisional strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts
10. Perform variance analysis on financial performance against divisional plan
11. Leverage business insights, scenario modelling and analysis to develop financial models and drive commercial decision-making
12. Create visually compelling stories for executive and leadership presentations
13. Ensure preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports
14. Support continuous improvement in the Group
15. Identify opportunities to improve existing financial processes
16. Closely follow-up macro-economic developments and assess impacts toward business
Requirements:
1. 7+ years FP&A or finance business partnering experience, with a track record of managing teams
2. 1-2 years of people management experience with the ability to effectively direct and prioritise work of others
3. Professional certified qualification (CFA/CPA/CA/AAT/CIMA/ACCA/ACA or global equivalent)
4. Expert knowledge in business analysis, analysing large data sets and information management
5. Experience in data modelling, and simplifying complex data into compelling, clear, and actionable insights using Excel and reporting tools
6. Commercial mind-set with an ability to influence senior stakeholders
7. Ability to work in a fast-moving environment and strong stakeholder management skills
