Operational Risk Analyst
A 30-hour per week permanent position.
About the Role:
The Operational Risk Analyst will be a second line of defence role sitting within the Risk and Compliance department. The right candidate will have responsibility for supporting the first line of defence in identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks within the firm.
* Risk Mitigation: Assist in developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.
* Monitor risk exposures and report on risk management activities to senior management.
* Investigate and manage operational risk incidents, ensuring timely resolution and reporting.
* Develop and update risk management policies and procedures.
* Continuously review and improve the operational risk management framework.
Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Risk specific qualifications such as IoB or PRMIA are beneficial.
* Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in operational risk management within the banking sector.
* Skills: Proficiency in risk management software and tools. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
