We are seeking a dedicated PLC Engineer to elevate our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations through expert development and management of automated systems. This position involves a comprehensive engagement with PLC systems from design through maintenance, within a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, program, and maintain PLC systems that control pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
* Develop detailed documentation for PLC system specifications and maintenance procedures.
* Implement system upgrades and integrations with existing manufacturing technology to improve efficiency and compliance.
* Conduct rigorous testing and validation of PLC systems to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and GMP standards.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in automation systems to minimize production downtime.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and maintenance, to align automation strategies with organizational goals.
* Train technical personnel on PLC system operations and best practices.
* Stay updated with the latest in control system technology and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement in automation processes.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in PLC programming and system design, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
* Strong understanding of pharmaceutical production processes, GMP, and relevant FDA regulations.
* Proficient in using PLC programming software and tools.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
