Accounts Receivable Specialist
Salary: €45k – €50k
Office Location: Dublin 3
Working Model: 2 days in office per week, 3 days from home
We are looking for a talented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team in Dublin. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of the day-to-day receivables and collections activities for the company. You will work as part of the wider finance team, assuming full autonomy for the accounts receivables and collections. This role provides many opportunities to embed processes and procedures and join a high growth organisation.
Responsibilities:
1. To issue all invoices and credit notes from the ERP system
2. Daily posting of payments/refunds (cheques, EFT, Credit Card, Direct Debits) onto the ERP system
3. Setting up new client accounts in the ERP system
4. Dealing with client account queries and liaising with internal staff regarding timely debt collection and resolution of queries
5. Management of the Debtors Ledger, ensuring payment within credit terms
6. Issuing monthly statements, phone calls, and debt collection letters
7. Where collection efforts fail, meeting with and recommending accounts for referral and collection to Solicitors and liaising with FP&A Manager
8. Order generation on DRS and generation of invoices and statements
9. Assist in the review of business processes and changes from a Finance perspective
10. Assisting in the preparation of year end/monthly accounts and liaising with Financial Controller and Auditors
11. Set up and maintain a Quality Management System for the department
12. Undertake project work and any other ad hoc financial duties as may be required
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 3-5 years relevant accounts receivable and collections experience
2. Confidence in taking on autonomy of AR function with support from the wider finance team
3. Ability to adapt in a changing environment
4. Knowledge of relevant accounting principles and regulations
5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
7. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
