Job Description
We are recruiting for a Store Manager on behalf of our client for their store located in Kilkenny.
As the Store Manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day operation of the store, including sales, team, stock management, visual merchandising, and overall working with your team to provide a friendly and engaging customer experience.
Your role as Store Manager:
• To drive sales through stock management and customer service; ensuring targets and KPI's are achieved weekly.
• To motivate, lead, and empower your team to increase sales and provide great customer service.
• To implement and maintain commercial and visual merchandising standards throughout the store using the business tools provided.
• Set out team objectives to achieve store KPI’s.
• To lead by example and provide excellent customer service and act as a great role model for the team.
• To maintain commercial and visual merchandising standards throughout the store using the tools provided.
• Carry out relevant admin work to include wages, health and safety, customer complaints etc.…
• To communicate with and report directly to your Area Manager.
The Ideal Candidate :
• Minimum of 2 years Management experience ideally in the retail sector.
• A passion for retail and profitability.
• Must lead and implement a high level of Customer Service in your store.
• You evaluate your team’s performance and provide regular feedback and support succession through their development and training.
• The ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve business KPI’s.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexible, reliable, and ability to multitask and re-prioritize when required.
• Ability to work in a face-paced environment and adapt quickly to changes.
• You ensure Health & Safety procedures, and security are in accordance with business standards to secure all employee and customers safety.
