Sales Manager - South Dublin
FlexiStaff are recruiting for a Sales Manager on behalf of our client, a leading provider of sales and business development solutions for golf clubs. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional to play a key role in driving revenue growth across multiple venues.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), the Sales Manager will oversee the sales management function across client venues, spending approximately 60% of their time on-site and 30% at head office.
This hands-on role requires a proactive individual who can lead sales initiatives, manage a team, and drive revenue across key areas, including memberships, green fees, retail, and food & beverage.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with the CRO to establish sales targets and develop annual sales plans.
* Implement sales strategies to drive revenue across:
* Membership renewals and retention
* Green fees (including society, corporate, and third-party sales)
* Tour operator & international guest green fees
* Develop and execute multi-product, multi-venue sales plans in collaboration with sales executives, third-party agencies, and venue operations managers.
* Manage the Services Sales Team (two full-time executives), ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximise efficiency.
* Support the sales team in delivering outstanding customer service.
* Oversee the CRM for tracking sales performance and managing the sales process.
* Work closely with venue operations managers to ensure smooth handovers between sales and golf operations for corporate, society, and group bookings.
* Build and maintain relationships with key industry influencers and partners to meet business goals.
* Regularly visit venues to collaborate with key personnel (Golf Operations Manager, F&B Manager, Retail Managers) to ensure sales targets are met.
* Maintain confidentiality in all sales-related matters.
Key Requirements
* Minimum of 2 years' sales & management experience in a similar role, ideally within the sports or golf industry.
* Sales-driven mindset, with a strong focus on targets and results.
* Excellent organisational skills and self-motivation.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with clients and colleagues effectively.
