Reporting directly to the Health and Safety Manager, you will play an integral role within a tight-knit team, contributing to key health and safety initiatives at their on-site location in Kildare.

The successful candidate will have a Health and Safety Qualification, Excellent interpersonal Skills and a commitment / desire to continuously learn and develop.
With the guidance of the Senior Health and Safety Manager, responsibilities will include: Foster a strong workplace health and safety culture by managing and monitoring a near-miss and hazard reporting system, ensuring ongoing communication with managers, safety representatives, and employees.
Regularly conduct business safety inspections, prepare reports, implement corrective and preventive actions, and collaborate with key departments to address identified issues.
Identify and schedule mandatory and ongoing safety training, ensuring timely delivery.
Create and share health and safety materials, such as toolbox talks and safety alerts, to drive continuous improvement.
Maintain training records and matrices to ensure accurate documentation.
Oversee emergency preparedness for the site, including fire safety, chemical safety, and work-related vehicle procedures.
Investigate, document, and report accidents, incidents, and near-misses promptly, ensuring timely implementation of corrective actions Regularly review and update Risk Assessments, Safe Operating Procedures, and the Safety Statement.
Support the Contractor Management Program by training contractor managers on requirements, updating and auditing approved contractors and their activities, and reviewing safety documentation for compliance with site and legal standards.
Collaborate with the team to ensure a high standard of health and safety throughout the site.
Skills / Qualifications / Experience:
Health and Safety Honours Degree.
College / Work Placement Experience (Advantageous) Strong communication skills with excellent proactive attitude Eager to Learn and Develop.
