We currently have an opening for a Food & Beverage Supervisor - Fridays & Saturdays off at Fernhill House Hotel, Clonakilty, Co. Cork.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Ensure all guests receive a genuine warm welcome and have a positive memorable experience during their time in the hotel.
2. Ensure the smooth running of service in all Food & Beverage outlets.
3. Lead a team of Food & Beverage Assistants.
4. Complete relevant training with new and existing team members.
5. Ensure strong morale among the team at all times.
6. Work and communicate effectively with all department heads and colleagues throughout the hotel to engender a collaborative and positive working environment.
7. Manage customer feedback to ensure matters are dealt with in an efficient and courteous manner and reported to Senior Management to ensure continuous improvements.
8. Maximise sales through upselling and excellent customer service.
Requirements
1. Experience desired but not essential.
2. Must have strong working knowledge of food and drink service.
3. Must be fluent in English and confident to converse freely with guests.
4. Must have proven experience leading a team including training, performance management, and development.
5. Must have excellent organisational skills and the ability to oversee and delegate work to others.
6. Must be willing to assist in other areas of the hotel as required.
7. Working days Sunday - Thursday, mix of evening and day shifts.
8. Must have a warm, friendly and approachable manner.
