This highly regarded professional college is currently recruiting a Senior Administrator to help ensure the effective management of their Examinations Department. This role would suit a hospitality professional with both front office and events exposure as well as excellent administrative/IT skills.
Key responsibilities:
1. Provide administrative support to all college and faculty examinations
2. Lead administrator at all OSCE examinations
3. Processing of examination applications and verification of examination results
4. Maintaining accurate records on the college’s database
5. Administrative work including answering telephone enquiries, dealing with mail and email and other communications
6. Maintaining the website and any other social media platforms used by the dept
7. Documentation and maintenance of process and procedures
8. Provide invigilation duties at all college and faculty examinations
9. Assist with other tasks as required
The ideal candidate:
1. Holder of a third level degree or equivalent
2. Strong administrative experience, academic or medical environment an advantage
3. Strong IT skills (MS Office, database management) and excellent numeracy skills
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills
5. Highly developed organisational, administrative and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work to deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
6. High level of confidence and interpersonal skills for dealing with senior management face to face and on the telephone
7. Ability to form excellent working relationships at all levels and to work as part of a small team
8. Willingness to contribute to wider college activity when required
