Our client, Irish Ferries Limited is the passenger and Roro freight shipping division of Irish Continental Group (ICG), the leading Irish-based maritime transport group.
They carry passengers and cars, Roll on Roll off freight (RoRo) between Ireland, Britain and France on up to 47 sailings per day.
They now wish to recruit a visionary Passenger Revenue Director to lead their Revenue strategy and drive the company's ambitions to become a market leader in their chosen markets.
This senior leadership position will oversee revenue growth, yield management, asset and inventory management, market share optimisation, and the implementation of competitive pricing strategies across diverse markets and sectors.
This role reports to the Managing Director of Irish Ferries and has working relationships with the Group Chief Financial Officer and the Group Chief Executive Officer.

Key Responsibilities: Revenue Leadership : Drive passenger revenue growth through innovative and effective sales strategies.
Market Share & Inventory Utilisation : Maximise market share and optimise yield/utilisation across passenger and freight services.
Competitive Pricing Strategies : Develop and implement dynamic pricing structures tailored to different markets and evolving customer needs, to capture revenue opportunities and drive demand during peak and off-peak periods.
Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and market positioning, conducting regular benchmarking analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, and develop strategies to maintain competitiveness and capture market share.
Demand forecasting : Analyse historical data, booking patterns, and market demand forecasts to accurately predict future demand trends, anticipate changes in market conditions, and adjust pricing and inventory strategies accordingly to optimize revenue performance.
Team Development : Recruit, build, and lead a high-performing revenue team to meet future market challenges.
Technology & Innovation : Leverage automation and advanced tools and technologies to improve revenue performance and customer outcomes.
Strategic Collaboration : Work closely with the Managing Director, the Group CEO, and the Group CFO to align passenger revenue strategies with overall business objectives and long-term growth plans.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align revenue management strategies with overall business objectives, share insights, and coordinate efforts to drive revenue growth and maximise profitability.
Performance Analysis : Monitor key performance indicators, analyse market trends, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
Stakeholder Value : Focus on delivering measurable results for customers while ensuring value creation for shareholders.
Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, results-driven leader with a passion for innovation and a proven track record of delivering growth in competitive markets.
Requirements: Senior-level experience in revenue leadership, with a strong focus on B2B and B2C revenue generation.
Demonstrated expertise in market share growth, inventory and yield management, and pricing strategies.
Proven ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing teams.
Strategic thinker with exceptional analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with leveraging advanced technologies to optimise revenue performance.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience reporting to board-level executives.
