Responsibilities:
1. Develop business for bronze and other selected customers, including range selling, cross-selling & value-based pricing.
2. Execute remote sales activities: prepare, coordinate, negotiate, close proposals, respond to RFQs.
3. Identify high potential accounts and set strategies for converting prospects.
4. Identify, prioritize and contact prospects. Manage customer-related initiatives/projects.
5. Responsible for the delivery of monthly/quarterly/annual EBITDA, cash flow and budgeted targets using effective sales techniques and the company's sales procedures.
6. Manage accounts against set targets, including mandatory sales call quotas each month.
7. Awareness of market conditions and trends including competitor activity and market relating to individual products.
8. Open and develop new trading accounts.
9. Maintain appropriate level of product knowledge, including attendance at product training.
10. Continually seek new market and product sales opportunities.
11. Liaise with appropriate BDMs to maximize sales opportunities.
12. Monitor, evaluate and report on competitors' activities in order to identify sales opportunities.
13. Contribute to industry and company product development to maximize sales opportunities.
14. Liaise and work closely with other members of the sales team to ensure the customer's requirements are fulfilled efficiently and effectively.
Reporting:
1. Completion of Visit Reports on a daily basis, allowing relevant members of the sales support team to follow up any actions.
2. Completion of Monthly Reports within the defined period, including analysis of the sales area and details supporting numbers.
General:
1. Proactively assist in managing Working Capital targets for the depot, including the reduction of bad debtors.
2. Contribute to the budgeting process by forecasting sales and profit within the sales area.
3. Ensure that the depot operates within the stated company quality assurance procedures and legal requirements, at all times.
4. Any other reasonable duties assigned by the Regional Sales Manager and/or General Manager as deemed necessary from time to time.
