Financial Accountant Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Accountant to join our team in Dunboyne, working on a hybrid basis (2 days per week). This is a newly created permanent role offering excellent benefits, including pension and VHI medical aid. The successful applicant will have a split and varied role covering two entities within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage payable/receivable accounts, duty payments, stock, pricing, and fixed asset register.
* Assist with payroll, general ledger postings, banking, and cash flow management.
* Track employee expenses, gifts from VISA card, and download weekly expenses from Concur.
* Complete expense reviews, reports, and debt collection of customer balances.
* Liaise with accounts payable team on overhead and stock queries.
* Prepare quarterly supplier statements, VAT returns, and Intrastat dispatches and arrivals.
* Perform balance sheet reconciliations and liaise with finance and corporate reporting teams.
