We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Manager for our 4 star client in Wexford to oversee the operations of the food and beverage department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality service, maintaining profitability, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily food and beverage operations, ensuring high-quality service and guest satisfaction.
2. Develop and implement strategies to improve profitability and efficiency.
3. Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive work environment.
4. Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships.
5. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
6. Manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and control costs.
7. Develop and update menus in collaboration with chefs and beverage specialists.
8. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to enhance guest experience.
9. Organize and oversee special events, catering services, and promotions.
10. Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas to improve offerings.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field preferred.
2. Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or in a similar role.
3. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
4. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
5. Experience in budget management and cost control.
6. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
7. Proficiency in restaurant management software is a plus.
