The hotel’s culinary team is the heart of its operation, and we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to elevate the fine dining restaurant to its full potential.
We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate individual with a creative vision, strong leadership skills, and the drive to create unforgettable dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional hospitality knowledge, be dedicated to maintaining the highest standards, and have a proven track record of managing high-end restaurants.
Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Team Management: Lead, inspire, and manage the restaurant team, ensuring a positive and collaborative working environment that maintains the highest standards of service and hospitality.
2. Guest Experience: Ensure exceptional guest experiences by overseeing all aspects of service, from the moment guests enter the restaurant to the completion of their dining experience. Focus on attention to detail, personalization, and creating memorable moments.
3. Operational Excellence: Manage daily operations, including overseeing the reservation system, coordinating with the kitchen team, and ensuring smooth and efficient service.
4. Menu & Wine Knowledge: Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure that the menu reflects the finest seasonal ingredients, modern fine dining concepts, and innovation. Provide guests with expert advice on food and wine pairings.
5. Quality Control: Maintain a consistent and exceptional level of service, ensuring that every dish is presented beautifully and all service standards are met.
6. Innovation: Stay updated on the latest trends in fine dining and hospitality to keep the restaurant at the forefront of the industry, offering unique experiences and setting the standard for excellence.
7. Staff Training & Development: Oversee training and development programs for restaurant staff, ensuring that all team members are knowledgeable and capable of delivering a luxury dining experience.
8. Budget Management: Handle restaurant budgets, including managing costs, controlling inventory, and maintaining profitability without compromising on quality.
9. Collaboration: Work closely with the hotel’s management team, kitchen staff, and front-of-house teams to ensure a seamless and cohesive dining experience for guests.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience managing high-end, Michelin-starred or luxury restaurants, ideally with experience in Two or Three-Star Michelin environments.
2. A passion for fine dining, guest service, and hospitality excellence.
3. Exceptional leadership and management skills, with a track record of inspiring and leading service teams.
4. Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including budgeting, inventory control, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and service.
5. Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
6. Outstanding communication skills and the ability to collaborate across all departments.
7. A formal qualification in hospitality or restaurant management is advantageous but not essential.
8. Fluency in English; additional languages would be an asset.
