As a National Internal Communications Graduate in the ALDI Internal Communications team, you will have the opportunity to support the strategy and execution of the Communications plan, delivering projects and initiatives that are designed to enhance reputation amongst media, political, industry and other audiences. This Graduate Programme will be a 12-month fixed term contract.
You will be working as a member of the national internal communications team, in an extremely exciting and fast-paced environment. You will get to experience working in a large corporate retail environment that touches every aspect of the product lifecycle, from Buying, Sustainability and Quality Assurance to PR and Marketing.

Key Responsibilities
* In line with ALDI’s overarching Communications strategy, support the development and implementation of appropriate Corporate PR strategies and programmes to include media and stakeholder relations
* Contribute to the day-to-day management of the company’s engagement with colleagues via the Internal Communications Portal by preparing timely and accurate articles, reports as well as management of queries from colleagues
* Accountable for working closely with the relevant teams in head office and the wider Marketing & PR teams to develop and manage communications programmes
* Supporting the PR team and managing communications for all incidents, issues and potential crises, where applicable
* Supporting the team and managing internal communications for all key events, projects, presentations and priorities
* Work closely with Sustainability, PR, Marketing, Social Media, Customer Services, Store Operations and Property teams to ensure alignment of strategy and messages
* Track, analyse and report monthly on communications results
Key Competencies Required
Prior experience preferable working across internal communications.

* Commercially minded and conscious of the impact that their work has on the wider business
* Excellent communications skills, including writing, and strong interpersonal skills
* Should be proactive, diplomatic & trustworthy with a flexible approach to work
* Highly organised with an ability to handle a high volume of work and to prioritise accordingly
* Creative and independent thinker with an aptitude for coming up with fresh and innovative ideas
* Proficient IT skills
* Experience in a busy, deadline-driven environment
* Prior experience of working in a team environment
* Polite and professional manner
* Impeccable attention to detail
* Full drivers’ license
* Degree in Communications, Business or Psychology
