Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Event Executive to support the planning and execution of a major Christmas Festival in Dublin. The ideal candidate will assist the Event Manager in all aspects of event coordination, logistics, and on-site operations, ensuring that the event runs smoothly and exceeds expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Event Manager in planning, organizing, and coordinating all event logistics, including vendor management, site setup, and schedule management.
* Support the development and implementation of event timelines, schedules, and task lists, ensuring all activities are executed according to plan.
* Help oversee on-site event staff, volunteers, and contractors, providing direction and assisting with setup, operations, and teardown.
* Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the event, providing quick solutions and escalating to the Event Manager when necessary.
* Assist in post-event evaluation, collecting feedback, and identifying areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
* 1-3 years of experience in event planning, coordination, or a related role, preferably in festivals, community events, or large-scale functions.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors, clients, and team members.
* Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.

Contract length: 2 months
Pay: €28,000.00-€35,000.00 per year
