The Role
You will be a trusted advisor helping On-Ramp customers gain value from cloud technology. You will craft and execute strategies to drive customer adoption and use of AWS services, including EC2, S3, DynamoDB & RDS databases, Lambda, CloudFront CDN, IoT, and many more.
Key Job Responsibilities
* You will build solutions, provide technical guidance, and advocate for customers.
* You will ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity.
* You will develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
* You will drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.
* You will consult with partners from developers to C-suite executives.
* You will collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers.
* You will proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS.
* You will provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, and pre-launch planning.
* You will solve various problems across different customers as they migrate workloads to the cloud.
* You will uplift customer capabilities by running workshops and brown bag sessions.
About You
* You have 3+ years of technical engineering experience.
* You have experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for three (3) of the following: compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment.
* You have a Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications
* You have experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
* You have experience in an internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead.
