As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Quality Engineer to take ownership of the evening shift as the sole Quality representative. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our high standards of quality are upheld and continuously improved upon during the evening shift, collaborating closely with production and management teams
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary Quality representative on the evening shift, leading all quality-related activities
* Perform in-process and final inspections, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards and customer requirements.
* Troubleshoot and resolve quality issues on the shop floor in a timely and efficient manner.
* Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
* Maintain accurate quality documentation and records in line with internal procedures.
* Provide quality guidance and support to production team members.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, driving enhancements in product and process quality.
* Collaborate with the Quality Manager and day shift team to ensure consistency across operations
Requirements
* Degree in Quality, Engineering, or a related experience.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quality role in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of quality systems, standards, and tools (ISO 9001, FMEA, 8D, CAPA, etc.). Candidates with working knowledge of ISO 13485 standards will also have an advantage.
* Proficiency in the use of inspection and measurement tools; CMM experience is a plus.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Self-starter with the ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
* A team player with a proactive approach and strong attention to detail.
