Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Tour Guide Manager to oversee and coordinate our public, private, and corporate tours around Dublin. This role is perfect for someone with experience as a tour guide or manager, who enjoys working in the events space and thrives in a leadership role. The successful candidate will manage the logistics of weekly tours, support a team of talented guides, and ensure our clients have exceptional experiences every time.
This role is weekdays and weekends at our Temple Bar office, with the tour manager hosting tours and also organizing them.
Bonus Pay: Additional compensation rate for leading tours directly.

Key Responsibilities
* Team Management & Scheduling: Lead a team of tour guides, manage bookings, and rostering to ensure all tours are adequately staffed and professionally delivered.
* Customer Communication: Handle client inquiries promptly and professionally, assisting with bookings and tailoring tour packages to meet specific needs.
* Leadership & Motivation: Provide support, guidance, and inspiration to your team, fostering a collaborative and enthusiastic work culture.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure all tours meet high standards of storytelling, customer engagement, and overall client satisfaction.
Requirements:
* Previous Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a tour guide or in event management.
* Leadership Skills: Ability to manage, motivate, and develop a diverse team while maintaining a friendly and professional work environment.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills (a high level of English is required).
* Organizational Skills: Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time-management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
* Customer Service: Passion for engaging with clients, ensuring their experience is positive, enjoyable, and memorable.
Bonus Skills
* Familiarity with Dublin’s key landmarks, hidden gems, and alternative cultural spaces.
* Artistic inclination or interest in the creative industry.
