BIM Manager
John Sisk & Son are delighted to be working on a cutting-edge development where, as an experienced BIM Manager, you will oversee the implementation of our Digital Project Delivery strategy across the projects within the Business Unit. This role will provide support and leadership to implement, develop, and manage a successful DPD strategy from pre-contract through to project delivery and handover.
This is a full-time, permanent position based in the Dublin area and you will be in a site-based role, where you will be a key part of our site team operations in the successful delivery and handover of our projects.
You will be:
1. Supporting the preconstruction team with the review of received tender documents (including Works Information, EIR, etc.) to identify Clients BIM and Digital requirements.
2. Providing technical review of 3D BIM models received at tender stage for federation, engineering checks, clash detection, logistics and cost management.
3. Support the production and delivery of project BEP, MIDP, MPDT and ensure internal project team and external parties are fully aware of their responsibilities.
4. Lead the DPD kick off meeting (jointly with the Information Manager) with the project management team to review and finalise the DPD strategy.
5. Support the BIM Engineers where required and mentor same as required
You will have:
6. Completed a third-level qualification in construction, computing or a related discipline
7. 5+ years experience of working on multi-disciplinary projects with BIM level 2 requirements
8. Excellent written, and verbal communication skills and experience working with MS Office
9. 5+ years experience utilising Autodesk Revit, Viewpoints for Projects / Dalux (or similar CDE), Synchro Pro, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Lumion and other rendering software packages.
