About the Role:
* Oversight and management of all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
* Coordination with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.
* Regular inspections to identify and address any issues or potential risks on the construction site.
* Preparation and maintenance of accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and change orders.
* Collaboration with the design team to resolve any engineering or design issues that may arise during construction.
* Compliance with all regulatory requirements and building codes.
* Management and monitoring of construction budget and expenses, making adjustments as needed to control costs.
* Technical guidance and support to construction teams and subcontractors.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
* Proven experience as a Construction Site Engineer or similar role in the educational industry.
* In-depth knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
* Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
* Excellent project management and organizational skills.
* Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including project teams, subcontractors, and clients.
* Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
