Why this role matters In this role, you will be the architect of smart spending, the guardian of financial health, and the key to every successful deal in our Central Procurement Cost Assurance Team.
As part of the Central Cost Assurance team within the Connectivity category, you will lead on global initiatives to deliver best outcomes for BT.
What you'll be doing Act as SME and work closely with Procurement Finance and the regional Procurement teams across the globe.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments to provide expertise and insights.
Perform testing of data and information using smart techniques and tools such as data visualisation and trend / pattern analysis.
Produce findings reports that deliver key findings, recommendations and messages in a succinct and professional manner.
Work with BT business stakeholders and regional procurement teams to identify cost optimisation opportunities and efficiencies.
Generate and deliver various reports and trends related to Spend, Savings and pricing.
Ability to work within (sometimes complex) Connectivity supply chain scenarios and provide agile responses to Business Units to assist in the progression of market opportunities.
Project manage, strategic procurement/business opportunities on a global scale.
Support internal business units on Bids and complex customer requirements with creative supply chain solutions for customers.
The skills you'll need Finance, Supply Chain, and Sourcing Experience.
Exposure to digital sourcing tools and willingness to learn and develop further.
Good business expertise particularly around supplier capabilities, procurement finance, commercial models, and partner programmes required to deliver portfolio and customer requirements.
Ability to manage sometimes complex, strategic, and commercial requirements between BT and Suppliers.
Exposure to business partnering and working with business stakeholders to deliver results.
