About the Job:
The Customer Delivery Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of Harvey Norman's delivery service.
As the Customer Delivery Manager, you will oversee the delivery operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers.
You will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience, leading a team of delivery personnel, and collaborating with various departments to streamline processes.
Your Job:
Your tasks will include:
* Manage and coordinate all aspects of the delivery process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
* Lead, manage and motivate the delivery team to maintain high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve delivery processes and customer satisfaction.
* Assist in resolving logistical and transport-related issues.
* Collaborate with inventory management and store teams to ensure alignment and efficiency in operations.
* Monitor delivery performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management.
* Process customer complaints, resolve delivery-related issues and strive to provide an appropriate and timely resolution.
* Along with the Operations Manager, assist with the day-to-day running of the Customer Delivery Department.
Your Profile:
Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
* Proven experience in a management role within logistics, supply chain or retail.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* CUSTOMER-FOCUSED MINDSET WITH A PASSION FOR DELIVERING OUTSTANDING SERVICE.
* Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions to improve processes.
* Proficiency in delivery management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Fluent in English both written and oral.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
* Flexible and adaptable approach to work with a positive attitude.
