Job Title: HR & Payroll Administrator
Dawn Meats is a leading premium meat processor and supplier, with annual revenues of over €2bn and employing over 7,300 staff in 15 countries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver administrative support for HR activities, including recruitment, pre-employment checks, induction, contract preparation, absence management, discipline, grievance processes, employee engagement, communications, employee relations, and performance management.
* Assist with the recruitment of candidates from non-EU countries and the work permit process.
* Complete required documents to send to Shared Services during employees' lifecycles.
* Maintain personnel files and records, processing data on time and in accordance with current data protection legislation.
* Generate reports on long-term absences, working time directives, employee turnover, and annual leave.
* Conduct exit interviews and provide labour turnover and workforce stability data.
* Participate in investigations and disciplinary meetings, ensuring accurate meeting notes are recorded.
* Work closely with Employee Forums/Site Union representatives to improve employee relations culture.
* Become a 'Champion' of the Human Resources Information System (CoreHR), driving its utilisation for all HR related data.
* Assist with graduate intake under the Company's annual Graduate Programme.
Requirements:
* Third-level qualification in HR or relevant discipline.
* Minimum 1 year's experience in a HR administrative role or similar.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office.
* Consistency in meeting deadlines.
* Ability to work with a diverse workforce population.
* Knowledge of CoreHR is an advantage.
